Terms and Conditions of Purchase
These terms and conditions apply to the purchase of all courses provided by Bissevov AS, in accordance with guidelines from the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet.no).
Section 1. General
Participants purchasing courses from Bissevov AS must be at least 18 years old. Guardians may purchase courses on behalf of participants under the age of 18.
Liability for injuries and damages caused by dogs
By enrolling in a course or private lesson, I confirm that participation is at my own risk.
Under Norwegian law (Compensation Act § 1-5), the dog owner is responsible for any damage caused by themselves or their dog. I will not pursue compensation claims against the instructor or Bissevov AS should my dog be injured during a course or private lesson.
Bissevov AS disclaims any liability for injuries or damages caused by a dog to itself, other dogs, people, or property.
We strongly recommend that dog owners maintain valid veterinary insurance.

Section 3. Pricing
All prices listed include applicable fees. Educational course activities are exempt from VAT under Norwegian regulations.
Customer information and personal data are handled in accordance with applicable privacy regulations.
Section 5. Payment
Payment is made via Vipps or bank transfer upon registration in order to secure a course spot.
Section 6. Delivery / Course Participation
If illness affects either the owner or the dog during the course period, participants may continue the course at the next available session. Documentation must be provided at least one week before the new course start date.
If the course cannot be completed due to illness, we will assist by offering a new course or refunding the course fee. If only a small portion of the course remains, a private lesson may be arranged to complete the training.
If participants are unable to attend for other reasons, notice must be given no later than 10 days before the course start date. Participants will then be offered a new course date or a refund of the course fee.
Section 8. Right of Withdrawal
Course registrations are binding upon enrollment, and course fees are non-refundable.
Our courses are exempt from the right of withdrawal under the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act §22 (m), which states that the cancellation right does not apply to agreements concerning leisure activities where a specific date or time period for the service has been agreed upon.
Section 10. Changes
If a course does not receive sufficient enrollment, Bissevov AS reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the course. In such cases, the course fee will either be refunded or the participant will be offered a place in the next available course.
If the alternative course does not suit the customer, the course fee will be refunded.

Section 13. Communication
By registering for a course with Bissevov AS, you agree that Bissevov AS may send you information via email or postal mail as a customer.
Customer information will be handled securely and stored in accordance with applicable Norwegian legislation.
Section 14. Conflict Resolution
Bissevov AS will always aim to find a reasonable solution for all parties if illness or other circumstances prevent completion of a course. This also applies in cases of course changes as described in Section 10.
Section 15. Use of Photos and Video
Bissevov AS reserves the right to use photos or videos taken during courses or events for social media and other marketing purposes.
Participants who wish to opt out must notify the organizer in writing before the course begins.
Section 16. Business Integrity and Fair Competition Clause
We value an open and inclusive learning environment in our courses. To maintain business integrity and respect diversity within dog training, participants are expected not to use our courses to gather information for competing business activities.
We encourage knowledge sharing and positive collaboration; however, we reserve the right to refuse registrations from individuals suspected of misusing our courses for competitive purposes.
