What is competition heeling?

It is for everyone!

Competition or demo heeling - its mostly used for those who compete in heelwork, obedience, rally obedience and so on. And if you search the internet - you will get ALOT of different methods. It does not mean that any of them are wrong - it means that it is more than one way to get to your goal.

Focus and contact

In this seminar I will consentrate on 2 types

The calm and assertive one - thats the one most used in obedience and heelwork. The dog walks with full contact, but not nesseserly alot of energy. Aka - Tjorven heelwork. The other one is more a "bouncy preuncy" one - where the dog walks in heel posision with alot of energy and focus. You can check out both types in this seminar.

The instructor

Marianne Elise Methi

The course is by Marianne Elise Methi from Norway. Over 25 years experience as a dogowner and competitor in several dogsports and on national team in Norway. Crufts winner in 2022 and norwegian champion in freestyle multiple times. She was also at this years Crufts with her golden retriever Tjorven.
Norways most used theaterdogs the last 15 years with over 300k + shows and 300k + people who have seen the theaterplays.
Living for dogs and dogtraining and are now fully focused on her own dogs in heelwork to music and freestyle.
